
Board of Directors Election Results
The WBC’s annual membership election for open Board of Directors seats was held on Tuesday, August 25th. There were four three year terms available. For the three “A” seats, incumbents Tim Cardanha, Brent Masserant, and Tom Dudus retained their board seats. For the one open “B” seat, Anthony Gasiewski is now the club’s newest board member. Congratulations!
The newly elected board also on Tuesday, August 25th elected the club’s officers in a separate meeting. Starting in October, Tom Dudus will be President, Don Ukrainec-Vice President, Fred Mekolon-Treasurer, Dan Fitzgerald-Assistant Treasurer, Chris Puhl-Membership Secretary, Marybeth Jakubowski-Recording Secretary, and Alison Duley- Corresponding Secretary.
The WBC Board of Directors consists of twelve volunteer members who manage the operations and finances of the over 150 year old rowing organization.
Fall 2026 Adult Sculling Session – Registration now open!
WBC is hosting an adult sculling session for Fall 2026! Open to adults who have completed at least one Adult Learn-to-Row session.

Masters fall rowing – Registration now open!
Masters rowing is a program for rowers with the experience, fitness, and interest to race. All ages 21 and up are welcome! First practice is Tuesday August 25th.

Annual Board Election
The Wyandotte Boat Club is governed by a twelve person board of directors, each elected by the membership for three year terms. The annual election for 2026 is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25th at 7:30pm. Members in good standing can vote for either the open “A” seats or “B” seat based on the club’s by-laws. The election is help upstairs in the WBC’s assembly room or Board Room.
